The Symphony Orchestra, a joint venture of the Conservatory and the High School, includes 45 students. In addition to its winter and summer festivals, it performs at numerous venues, including Ministry of Education conferences and other special events in the city.
Its repertoire is expansive, giving students many opportunities to play the best of classical symphonic music: Symphonies by Beethoven and Mozart, Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto, Bizet’s Carmen Suite and much more.
